Senior Thesis Reflection

The AE Senior Capstone Thesis was a great learning experince. The year long thesis is broken into two semesters. The first semster helped me evaluate the exsisting structure and learn from the engineers on the original project; while, the second semester allowed me to learn new stuctural designs methods which interst me. Thesis was a challenge but I am extremley thankful for the experince. I know this experince has prepared me more for all the challenges ahead in my proffessional career. I have gained the knolwdge and prepared myself to work thruogh problems one step at a time.

CPEP Reflection

The CPEP online site has been an enjoyable experience and thruogh the help of wix.com the formating and design was made simpler. I am also greatful for the ability to share all my work with the AE Faculty, family, and friends.

Thank You

My journey started many years ago, thanks to my parents who have sacrificed everything to provide for us. They taught me that everything is possible through education and that the knowledge you gain is the only thing that cannot be taken away. They are beyond words my inspiration to keep succeeding. Thanks to them, I also gained my greatest fans. My sisters are the ones who keep me young at heart and always smiling, I will always have their back because I know no matter what they will always have mine. Thank You for always being there and never letting me give up on my childhood dream.

At this time I would like to send a special thanks to Thornton Tomasetti for allowing me learn from their project. I was exposed to many new elements and have taken away a lot from your knowable staff. In particular, I would like to thank the following individuals for making it all possible John Boyer, Stephen Szycher, and Travis Test.

Finally, I have meet many people along the way who also deserve a thank you for there "granito de arroz" as we say in Spanish. This literally meaning "for your little grain of rice" as to say you and I may not know why we were meant to cross paths but you have changed me in some sort of way even if it’s as small as a grain of rice. You changed how I see the world by sharing your experiences with me, you provided me a shoulder to lean on when times got hard, you shared your knowledge and love for learning, you showed me that the possibilities are endless, and we created moments that will now pass on to be treasured memories and for that and many more reasons I would like to thank the following people:

My extended family

All my teachers from Pre-K to my Penn State Professors

My friends especially to all my friends from college whether we met in college or just made our bond a whole lot stronger while at Penn State
